Taking place in Ho Chi Minh City on 12 November 2026, Perspectives 2027 will bring together leaders across luxury, technology, design, hospitality and wellness to examine the forces shaping the industry’s next decade of growth, with Parley for the Oceans Founder Cyrill Gutsch headlining the programme.
Four regional editions of Robb Report, together with Beyond the Boardroom, will convene industry leaders in Ho Chi Minh City for Perspectives 2027, a full-day luxury summit taking place on 12 November 2026 at JW Marriott Hotel & Suites Saigon.
Presented by Robb Report Vietnam, Robb Report Singapore, Robb Report Malaysia, Robb Report Philippines and Beyond the Boardroom, the summit will explore how shifting consumer priorities, emerging technologies and changing definitions of wealth are reshaping the luxury industry.
The full-day programme will feature keynote conversations, panel discussions and case studies spanning artificial intelligence, longevity, real estate, hospitality, wellness and design. At its heart is a question increasingly relevant to luxury businesses: as traditional markers of status and exclusivity evolve, what will create value and drive growth over the next decade?
The New Luxury Equation: From AI to Longevity
Luxury has long been defined by scarcity, craftsmanship and exclusivity. But as wealth shifts across generations and geographies, so too do the markers of aspiration. Time, health, wellbeing and meaningful experiences are increasingly challenging traditional notions of status, prompting luxury businesses to reconsider not only what they sell, but the value they deliver.
These shifts are particularly relevant in Vietnam, one of Asia’s emerging luxury markets, where rising wealth, entrepreneurial ambition and a new generation of globally connected consumers are shaping new patterns of consumption. With its rich heritage in craftsmanship, gastronomy and contemporary creativity, the country offers an opportunity to explore how luxury can evolve beyond established Western definitions of prestige.
Against this backdrop, Perspectives 2027 will examine the economic, technological and cultural forces redefining the industry through nine sessions spanning wealth creation, consumer behaviour, artificial intelligence, longevity, real estate and hospitality. Discussions will explore where luxury’s next wave of growth will emerge, how international brands can build relevance with Vietnam’s next generation of consumers, and whether artificial intelligence can manufacture desire in an increasingly automated world.
The programme will also examine the rise of the outcome economy, where luxury is defined less by ownership and more by how products, services and experiences improve people’s lives. This includes the growing longevity market, as consumers prioritise healthspan over lifespan; wellness-led residential developments and new models of senior living; and the evolution of hospitality towards experiences that deliver meaningful wellbeing outcomes.
The Voices Shaping the Conversation
Headlining Perspectives 2027 is Cyrill Gutsch, Designer, Environmentalist, Founder and CEO of Parley for the Oceans, a global collaboration network connecting creativity, environmental action and material innovation. Gutsch will join Rahat Kapur, Co-founder and Editorial Director of Beyond the Boardroom, for an on-stage conversation examining the culture of desire and how businesses can rethink the relationship between aspiration, consumption and responsibility.
Known for challenging conventional approaches to production and material use, Gutsch has collaborated with global brands including adidas and Dior to explore how ocean plastic and other recovered materials can be transformed into new products. His work raises a broader question for the luxury industry: can desirability and commercial growth coexist with fundamentally different approaches to how products are conceived, created and consumed?
Joining Cyrill Gutsch will be a cross-disciplinary line-up of business leaders, futurists, designers and industry specialists offering perspectives on the forces transforming luxury across Asia and beyond. Among the key speakers are Oriol Montal, Regional Vice President, Luxury Asia Pacific at Marriott International; Dr Catherine Ball, Scientist, Futurist and Founder of Vox Meriden and Vox Helix; Christine Galle-Luczak, Founder and CEO of Heavens Portfolio; and Bhavya Kukrety, Managing Director of WATG Asia Pacific, and Dr. Jira Thawornpradit, Director of the Prevention and Wellness Clinic at BDMS Wellness Clinic in Bangkok.
Together, the speakers will bring perspectives spanning luxury hospitality, emerging technologies, architecture, wellness, consumer behaviour and the evolving relationship between business growth and human wellbeing.
Further speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
