The former Oracle Red Bull Racing CEO brings two decades of paddock experience to The Star Theatre on 7 October, part of a Singapore F1 week where executive content and luxury brands are increasingly enthralling as much as the circuit itself.

Christian Horner, the former Oracle Red Bull Racing Team Principal and CEO, will bring a one-night-only live event, Christian Horner: Unfiltered, to The Star Theatre on Wednesday 7 October 2026, during Singapore’s Formula 1 week.

Horner was recruited by Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz in 2005 to lead the drinks company’s first transition from motorsport sponsor to F1 team owner, becoming the sport’s youngest-ever team principal at age 32. His first win arrived at the 2009 Chinese Grand Prix, followed by four consecutive Constructors’ and Drivers’ title doubles from 2010 to 2013, a run that earned him an Order of the British Empire that year. A rebuilding period through F1’s hybrid era gave way to a second dominant stretch, including Red Bull’s most successful season on record in 2023, with 21 wins from 22 races, and a Commander of the British Empire honour that followed.

Horner left the team in July 2025 after two decades at the helm, a tenure that also saw him establish Red Bull Advanced Technologies and Red Bull Powertrains, extending the team’s engineering into road cars and its own power units. Since then, he has taken on an advisory role at London-based private equity house Oakley Capital, part of a wider pivot toward business and leadership platforms that Unfiltered now extends into live events.

The Star Theatre evening, staged by regional live entertainment platform Triangle through its Curious Asia division, marks Horner’s first long-form live interview in Asia, hosted by broadcast journalist Lee McKenzie, known for her Formula 1 coverage on Channel 4 and the BBC, and author of Inside F1: Life Alongside Legends.

“Christian Horner has spent 20 years at the sharp end of a sport where the margins between winning and losing are measured in fractions of a second,” said Zaran Vachha, Founder of Triangle and Curious Asia, in an official release. “Bringing him to Singapore during F1 week is about more than motorsport, it’s about opening up a conversation on leadership, risk and what it takes to build teams that keep performing when the pressure doesn’t let up.”

The event slots into a Singapore Formula 1 week that has in recent years, become as much about business as it is about racing. That evolution mirrors Formula 1’s own commercial trajectory. The sport’s top-line revenue rose 14% to US$3.87 billion in 2025, while operating income roughly doubled year on year, according to Liberty Media‘s 2025 earnings report. Increasingly, that growth is driven by corporate hospitality, premium experiences and strategic partnerships alongside ticket sales, with Formula 1’s official Paddock Club hospitality programme, aimed at C-suite executives and business partners, typically the first category to sell out at major races, according to CREA Group.

Singapore has increasingly become a focal point for that convergence. Token2049, the world’s largest crypto and Web3 conference, now runs alongside the Grand Prix at Marina Bay Sands, drawing tens of thousands of founders, investors and industry leaders into the same week. Horner’s appearance adds another leadership-focused event to the calendar, reinforcing Singapore’s Formula 1 week as a platform for boardroom conversations as much as on-track competition.

Pre-sale registration opened on Friday, 17 July 2026 at 5.00pm.
