Michael von Schlippe is President of Media Publishares and co-founder of Beyond the Boardroom, established in 2025 as a joint venture between Media Publishares and R.S.V.P.

With over two decades of global media experience, he has led the launch and growth of titles such as Vogue SingaporeRobb Report, and BURO across Southeast Asia. His career—spanning Condé Nast, Sanoma Independent Media, and entrepreneurial ventures in Europe, and Asia—reflects a continued commitment to shaping the future of publishing at the intersection of luxury, innovation, and culture. 

Bettina von Schlippe

Founder, Beyond The Boardroom

Bettina von Schlippe founded Beyond the Boardroom in 2025 to create a platform dedicated to documenting and decoding the exchange between business and culture.

Her approach builds on over two decades of experience launching and leading some of Asia’s most influential media brands, including Vogue Singapore, Buro., and Robb Report in Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam. As Vice President Business Development & Innovation, Publisher-at-Large of Vogue Singapore, and Director of the Vogue Foundation, she has collaborated with global luxury houses, creative leaders, and industry disruptors, developing a unique vantage point on how commerce and creativity shape one another.

Rahat Kapur

Editorial Director, Beyond the Boardroom

The editorial mind behind Beyond the Boardroom, Rahat Kapur shapes the platform’s vision for culturally fluent business journalism, exploring the exchange between commerce and creativity across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.

She was previously Managing Editor at Campaign Asia-Pacific, Editor-in-Chief at Esquire Singapore, and Publisher & Editor-in-Chief at Buro Singapore. Earlier in her career, she worked in consulting and brand communications with Accenture, EY, and Iris Worldwide, advising major global brands. 

Alexander Trefilov

Director and Co-Founder, Beyond The Boardroom Vice President, Media Publishares

Leading commercial strategy, partnerships, and growth for Beyond the Boardroom, Alexander Trefilov serves as Director and Co-Founder of the platform, ensuring its editorial ambitions are grounded in a strong and sustainable business model. He is also Vice President of Media Publishares, where he oversees corporate finance, investor relations, and business intelligence across the company’s Southeast Asian portfolio.

With more than 15 years of experience in international publishing and a proven record in operational leadership, market expansion, and financial strategy, Alexander brings the commercial acumen and strategic clarity that drive Beyond the Boardroom’s mission to bridge business and culture.
